(I know I don't have everything but some of you may find what I do have to be interesting!)
I believe the original 3 octaves of Schulmerich Handbells were purchase and first used in the Fall of 1985.
Jill (Schmahl) Boman was the director and some of you were ringing then. I started in the Fall of 1986 when Jill left for another position.
I had to scramble to learn something about Handbells since I knew nothing.
Colleen, Amy and I heard the Westminister Handbell Choir (Don Allured) at Arlington Hills Lutheran (Winter 86/87) and it changed our handbell lives.
I believe the original 3 octaves of Schulmerich Handbells and portable tables were an Ehrenberg Memorial.
